Ode ao Mar Atlântico brings together elements of sound art, "música de terreiro' and experimentalism; the concept that traces new paths in the composition / structure that was created having "trance" as its mote and research and its corporal, contemplative and introspective subdivisions.

Given this, the project sticks its research and investigation in the artistic languages ​​of a tripod that involves sound art (sound installation methods), exploratory / improvised music (introspection) and "música de terreiro" (body / liturgical trance). It is important to emphasize that the project itself seeks in its essence, to improve, awaken and create ramifications in the field of sound art: performance, musical concert, installation, sound experiences and research in the terreiros of umbanda and candomblé, constitute this synthesis of expression. In this way, through these researches and creations - which end up awakening new perspectives in other creative processes that is developed in this work as a performance-body-sound.

The project had the artistic orientation of the composer, musician and music producer - Arto Lindsay - known for producing albums of artists, such as: Caetano Veloso, Ryuchie Sakamoto, Animal Collective, Marisa Monte, Ilê Aiê, Laurie Anderson, Gal Costa among others. In addition to artistic expressions, Ode ao Mar Atlântico (ode to the Atlantic Sea) creates its own symbolic mythology that unites tarot, reiki, immersions in terreiros, energetic representations. Ode ao Mar Atlântico is composed by: Eric Barbosa, Éden Barbosa, Rami Freitas, Eduardo Scarpinelli, Diego Maia, Marta Aurélia, Natália Parente and Wellington Gadelha.
